1. Basic Assumption for ideal MOS capacitor (1) Oxide는 perfect insulator이다. (2) Oxide 내부나 표면에 charge가 존재하지 않는다. (3) Gate voltage가 0일 때, metal work function과 semiconductor work function의 값은 같다.

즉, gate voltage가 0일 때, 모든 band는 flat이다. 2. P-type MOS Capacitor Accumulation: (gate voltage<0) Gate side의 negative charge가 silicon side의 positive charge와 평형을 이루어야 하므로, silicon 표면에 hole이 유도된다.
