드디어 올해 4월부터 시작했던 해리포터 시리즈 7권을 모두 읽었습니다. 표현(단어 및 숙어) 정리도 함께 끝났으면 좋겠지만 아무래도 정리는 시간이 더 걸리네요. 어쨌든 계획한 대로 7권 완독해서 기분이 좋습니다~~~내년 계획도 주말 동안 잘 세워봐야겠습니다. 실현 가능한 것으로 정하고 진행 일정은 이런 저런 변수가 많으니 약간은 여유 있게.우선은 이미 결심한 Midnight Sun 먼저 읽어야겠지요.황금사랑초 꽃봉오리가 잔뜩 달려서 곧 필 것 같아 사진을 딱 넣고 싶은데어제는 하루종일 흐려서 피지 않았습니다. 오늘은 베란다로 햇빛이 꽤 들어오기에 노란 꽃들이 활짝 피기를 기대했지만부족한 게 있는지 꽃봉오리를 열지 않았네요.......

2021년 1월 1일: 우스운 꽃씨 구매기

며칠 전 원서 1권 읽기를 또 끝내고 미리 정해 놓았던 나를 위한 선물. 꽃씨 구매에 나섰다. 사실 사고 싶은 꽃씨도 다 골라 놓았고 결제 버튼만 누르면 되는 단계인데 판매 사이트가 매년 1월에는 10% 할인을 한다고 해서 기다리고 있었다. 10%가 그리 큰 금액은 아니지만 꽃씨 한 종류를 더 살 수 있는 정도는 되고 게다가 할인이 곧 있을 것이라는 걸 뻔히 아는데 더 비싼 금액에 살 수는 없는 노릇이었다. 그런데 사실 말일이 될 때까지 머리가 좀 복잡했었다. 내가 사고 싶은 꽃씨가 딱 2개만 남아있어서 혹시 나보다 누가 먼저 구매해 버리면 어떻게 하나 걱정하기도 했다. 그래서 그냥 사버릴까 하다가도 만약 그렇게 되면 그건 올해는 내.......

2020년 12월 28일: 오늘은 도서관에서 이 책들을 빌렸네요.

요즈음 지역 도서관에서는 내일드림서비스로 책을 대여해 주고 있습니다. 전날 미리 70명의 온라인 대출신청을 받고 다음 날 오후 2시~5시까지 (잠긴) 도서관 현관 문을 사이에 두고 대출한 책들을 받을 수 있는 서비스이지요. 사진에 있는 책들은 그렇게 해서 빌려온 책들입니다. 사실은 원래 빌리고 싶은 책은 따로 있습니다.문체 연습한 가지의 이야기를 99개의 문체로 쓴 소설들을 담고 있다지요. 작가가 어떻게 썼을지 너무나 궁금해서 책을 살까 고민하다가 우선 도서관에 비치되어 있기에 빌려보기로 했습니다. 며칠 전까지만 해도 대출중이었고 코로나 사태로 예약도 할 수 없기에 대출하신 분이 반납을 할 때까지 기다리는 중이었지.......

작가 로알드 달(1916-1990)이 사망한 지 30년이 되어 시공주니어에서 특별기획전을 한다네요. 로알드 달은 저희 둘째와 인연이 깊은 작가지요. 마틸다를 읽으며 책에 대한 재미를 느껴 로알드 달의 유명한 작품들은 대부분 초등학교 저학년 시절에 읽은 듯 합니다.원서로도 읽으려고 세트를 사두기는 했는데 읽은 책은 마녀를 잡아라 (The Witches) 뿐이네요. 내년에 읽어볼까 생각 중입니다.그리고 로알드 달 탄생 100주년 기념한 국내 행사에도 아이들과 함께 참석했던 적이 있어요. 당시 마이리틀 자이언트도 같이 보고 행사 선물로 집에 없던 로알드 달 책들도 몇 권 받아왔던 기억이 있네요. 책을 좋아하게 하는 방법은 여러가지가 있겠.......

블로그를 시작하면서 내가 하고 있는 일들을 기록하는재미에 빠져 2년이란 시간이 금방 지나갔네요.거의 매일 기록을 하니 대단한 일을 하고 살았던 것은아니나 그 꾸준함에 뿌듯함을 느낍니다.올해 목표는 해리포터 7권 완독인데4월에 시작해서 12월 14일 현재7권 챕터 13을 읽고 있네요. 성공을 위해 화이팅!

드디어 몇 년을 안고 있던 문학의 탐정 72권 세트를 판매하려고 합니다. 택배비 포함해서 7만원으로 알라딘 중고거래로 판매 중이네요. (초등 고학년 수준)여자아이가 봐서 깨끗하네요. 품질은 대부분 최상급이나 구입한 지 5년 이상 지났기에 상으로 표시했습니다.본 책을 거꾸로 꽂아놓아서 위아래가 섞여있네요. 아이한테 좀 쉬운 것 같아 안 읽은 책들은 강요하지 않았네요. 중학생 수준 책으로 다시 권하려 합니다.

집에 있는 씨앗들을 2월쯤 심으려고 생각했는데 찾아보니 파종기간이 가을부터 봄이라고 되어 있어서 몇 개만 물발아를 시도해 봅니다.사랑초를 좋아하는 이유가 꽃이 작고 마른 잎들이 적어 치우기 쉽고 베란다가 덜 지저분해 보인다는 점도 한 몫 하는 것 같아 비숫한 아이들을 골라봤네요. 마지막 루나리아는 친절한 이웃님이 나눔해 주셨는데 흙에도 심었지만 물발아가 빠른가 싶어서 같이 해봤습니다.앞의 3종류는 설명을 찾기 어려워 꽃씨 파는 사이트를 링크했는데.. 저랑 아무 상관 없는 곳이랍니다. 운간초(천상초)운간초는 4일째 물발아 중인데 변화가 없네요. 씨앗 판매처에 문의하니 다년생은 20~30일 걸리는 경우 있다고 하.......

2020년이 한달도 남지 않았네요. 내년을 기다리며 이런 저런 생각이 떠올라 적어봅니다. 1. 영문, 국문 도서 읽기2020년 한 해는 해리포터 원서 7권을 끝내리라 마음을 먹고 매일 꾸준히 달려왔습니다. 6권을 끝내고 마지막 7권을 읽고 있는 상황이라 뿌듯한 마음도 있지만 해리 포터 최소 1 챕터를 읽고 단어정리를 매일 해야 한다는 약간의 부담감 때문에 그동안 국문 책을 너무 못 읽었다는 반성도 하고 있습니다. 그래서 내년에는 격일제로 원서와 국문 도서를 읽으려고 계획을 세웠습니다. 원서를 의무적으로 읽었듯이 국문 도서도 똑같은 방식으로 한다면 두 언어의 책을 꾸준하게 읽게 될 거라 희망찬 다짐을 하고 있네요.2. 고등학교.......

드디어 6권이 끝났습니다. 초반에 서둘지 읽지 못하고 막판에 많이 읽으려고 좀 더 노력을 했습니다. 2020년 11월 21일: 사랑초 기록

사랑초를 키운 지는 올해로 3년째다. 같은 사랑초라도 크는 모습이 다르고 알맞는 화분 모양도 다른 것 같아 기록에 남기려 한다. 여름 되기 전에 구근 수확하고 9월에 다시 심으려면 요새 사랑초를 보면서 드는 생각들을 기억해야 하기 때문이다. 미누타분홍색 꽃이 피는 녀석인데 한 화분에서 3년째 있어서인지 정말 잎이 소담스럽고 풍성하게 난 녀석이다. 안쪽 베란다 화분대에서 자랐는데 햇빛이 많이 필요하지는 않는지 줄기도 짧지만 귀엽게 자랐다. 지금 자라고 있는 통통한 항아리형 화분이 잘 어울려 내년에 구근을 옮겨 심을 때에는 집에 있는 같은 형태 화분 여러 개에 나누어 심어야겠다. 잎이 하도 많아 구근이 얼마나 있을 지 정.......

2020년 11월 15일: 김장과 트와일라잇(Twilight)

뜬금없이 김장과 트와일라잇이 무슨 관계로 같이 글제목이 되었는지 궁금하시죠~ 이 둘은 제가 며칠 해리포터 6권 단어정리를 못했던 이유입니다. 김장은 원래 어제 할 예정이었는데 갑자기 친정엄마가 배추를 급하게 평일 목요일에 사게 되어 목요일에 절이고 금요일에 부모님과 저 이렇게 3명이 김장을 하게 되었습니다. 보통 김장은 오빠 내외까지 같이 5명이 해왔기에 처음 시작할 때는 걱정이 좀 되었지만 평소보다 아빠가 조금 더 일을 하시고 다행히 달랭이 김치는 며칠 전에 미리 했기에 배추김치 정도는 3명만 해도 큰 무리가 없었습니다. 30~40포기 정도 되었던 것 같은데 당시 왜 그랬는지 별로 양이 궁금하지 않아 부모님께 정확히.......
