(Tom과 Jack과 Bill은 친한 급우 사이다.) ※ 명령문 + and : 「∼하여라, 그러면」 Work hard, and you'll succeed. = If you work hard, you will succeed. ※「go, come, try+and+원형」에서의 and는 to의 대용으로 쓰인 것인데, and 대신 to를 쓰기도 한다.
