yesterday LOS ANGELES (AP) - A company that marketed and sold a "drinkable sunscreen" has agreed to a legal settlement to resolve allegations of deceptive adverttising, California`s attorney general announced Wednesday. Marketing and sale of the product called UVO stopped during the investigation, Attorney General Rob Bonta said in a statement. "We may want a shortcut, but the truth of the matter is: There`s no evidence that alternative sunsreen product like UVO`s so-called 'drinkable sunscreen' provide protection.
