English Grammar in Use Unit 1 정리Be 동사 + 동사원형ing1. 말하고 있는 그 시점 또는 그 시점 즈음에 일어나고 있는 일에 대해서 이야기 할 때 사용한다.We use the continuous for things happening at or around the time of speaking.

The action is not complete.- Sarah is in her car. She is on her way to work.

She is driving to work. Sarah는 차 안에 있다.

그녀는 출근하는 길이다. 그녀는 회사까지 운전을 하고 있는 중이다.- Please don’t make so much noise.

I’m trying to work. (not I try).

지금 일하고 있는 중이니까 시끄럽게 하지 말아주세요.- Let’s go out now. It isn’t raining any more.
