MonitorControl은 맥용으로 만들어진 모니터 밝기 조절 툴이다. DDC가 지원되는 외장 모니터의 밝기를 조절하는 경우에 요긴하게 쓰인다.
이런 건 좀 기본 기능으로 만들어 줘도 될 것 같은데. 맥의 제어 센터에 외부 모니터의 밝기도 조절될 것처럼 UI는 띄워 주지만 비활성화되어 있다.
비활성화된 조절 바 MonitorControl 앱을 활용하면 이렇게 메뉴 막대에 밝기를 조절할 수 있도록 설정할 수 있다. MonitorControl 무료로 다운로드하기 아래 GitHub 링크에 들어가서 조금 내리다 보면 나오는 Download app for macOS 버튼을 클릭한다.
