As a village located in Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, it is well known as the clan village of Pungsan Ryu Clan and was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010. The name Hahoe means that a river flows around the village, and it is a representative attraction in Andong along with Dosanseowon Confucian Academy.
It is also a place where Queen Elizabeth II of England visited in 1999 and became a hot topic. 경상북도 안동시에 위치한 마을로서 풍산 류씨의 집성촌으로 잘 알려져 있으며 2010년에 유네스코 세계문화유산으로 지정되었다.
