Tech Note : High-Throughput DNA shearing for HiFi whole genome sequencing from whole Blood Samples

INTRODUCTION 전혈(Whole Blood)에서 추출한 DNA는 PacBio사의 HiFi기술을 이용한 whole genome sequencing (WGS)에 활용될 수 있는 고품질의 재료이지만, library 준비 전 shearing 이라는 과정이 필요합니다. 이 Tech Note에서는 MP Biomedicals 의 FastPrep-96 장비를 사용하여, human whole blood 에서 유래한 high molecular weight genomic DNA (gDNA) 를 shearing 하기 위한 실험 조건에 대해서 설명하고, FastPrep-96이 WGS을 위한 high-throughput DNA shearing option으로 얼마나 유용한지에 대해 입증하고자 합니다 .
