조건 명제(Conditional Proposition) - 조건이 있는 형태의 명제. (Example) If the Mathematics Department gets an additional $60,000, then it will hire one new faculty member. -> hypothesis(p): The Mathematics Department gets and additional $60,000. -> conclusion(q): The Mathematics Department will hire one new faculty member. ▷ 조건 명제의 진리표(Truth Table of Conditional Table) ▷ 공허한 참(Vacuously True) - 조건 명제의 진리표를 보면, 가정이 거짓이면 결론이 어떻든, 조건 명제는 자동적으로 참이다. - 이 부분을 생각해본적이 없다면 당연히 의문이 들 것이다.

하지만, 가정이 거짓이면 애초에 논의할 필요가 없다....
